Four Aggies Garner NCEA All-America Honors

WACO - Texas A&M equestrian standouts Mattie Gustin, Brooke Brombach, Maggie Nealon and Rylee Shufelt have been named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Ariat All-America teams, as announced Tuesday.

WACO - Texas A&M equestrian standouts Mattie Gustin, Brooke Brombach, Maggie Nealon and Rylee Shufelt have been named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Ariat All-America teams, as announced Tuesday. 
 
Gustin garnered first team honors in Reining, while Brombach, Nealon and Shufelt earned honorable mention for Flat.
 
In her first year as a starter, Gustin jumped out the gates with six straight wins before ending the regular season with an 8-1-1 record to lead the Aggies in Reining. The junior also earned two Most Outstanding Performer honors on the year and registered a season-high 74.5 on Boss in a win against Georgia. 
 
Brombach posted a 7-3-1 record and picked up two significant MOP awards in back-to-back SEC meets against South Carolina and Auburn. The junior also set a career-high against Dartmouth with a 92 on Celsius. 
 
In her senior campaign, Nealon matched the school record for Flat with a 96 on Zeus against Dartmouth en route to earning MOP honors. Nealon wrapped up her final regular season with a 6-2-3 mark. 
 
Shufelt topped the jumping seat squad in wins on the year with eight and earned MOP honors at Oklahoma State. The junior's .727 win percentage marked the second highest in program history for Flat.
