AZUSA, Calif. – The Texas A&M track & field team claimed four personal bests on the second day of the Bryan Clay Invitational Friday at Cougar Athletic Stadium.

Eric Casarez led the charge in the men's 5000m, as he secured third in his heat in a time of 13:44.77 which is the third fastest mark in Aggie history, only trailing his own top two marks. Victor Kibiego shot to No. 3 in the A&M record books, crossing the line in a personal best 13:45.80 for second in his heat. Jonathan Chung added the final men's 5000m personal best with a mark of 14:11.51 to place 13th.

Kennady Fontenot was the lone Aggie entry in the women's 5000m event and recorded a personal best time of 16:19.48 to place fourth in her heat. The time she ran bettered her mark at the No. 5 spot in the record books.

Avery Perkins ran the final best of the day in the women's 800, crossing the line in 2:10.66.
