WACO – Texas A&M Equestrian Associate Head Coach Abby O'Mara has been named the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Jumping Seat Coach of the Year, as announced by the organization Tuesday.

"Through her unwavering dedication and exceptional guidance, Coach Abby has elevated our team to new heights, earning her the well-deserved title of Coach of the Year," said head coach Tana McKay.

Under O'Mara, the Aggies finished with a record of 10-4 in Fences and 7-5-2 in Flat. O'Mara helped guide three Flat riders to All-America honors in Brooke Brombach, Maggie Nealon and Rylee Shufelt. The Maroon & White also garnered 17 Most Outstanding Performer honors in Jumping Seat under O'Mara during the 2023-24 season.
