BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics will hold a celebration event to honor the 2024 National Champion women's tennis team on Tuesday, May 28 at 3 p.m. in the Jackie Sherrill Lettermen's Club, located on the north end of Kyle Field.

The event is open to the public and people are encouraged to park in the University Center Garage or the Gene Stallings Garage. The team recognition will begin at 3:15 p.m. with refreshments to follow.

The Aggies secured their first national title in program history after taking down SEC foe Georgia, 4-1, in the team season finale. En route to the title, the Maroon & White won their third-straight SEC Regular Season Championship and took down No. 4 North Carolina, No. 5 Virginia and No. 16 Tennessee to position themselves for the championship opportunity. The No. 1 player in the nation, Mary Stoiana was named Tournament MVP and was joined on the All-Tournament singles team by teammates Carson Branstine, Nicole Khirin and Lucciana Perez. Texas A&M swept the All-Tournament Team doubles accolades with Stoiana/Mia Kupres on Court 1, Branstine/Perez on court 2 and Khirin/Jeanette Mireles on court 3.
