COLORADO SPRINGS – Texas A&M's Ifenna Cos-Okpalla and Logan Lednicky were named to the 2024 United States Collegiate National Team, the organization announced Wednesday.
Â
"I've spent 12 years with our national teams and know how much work it takes to represent the United States," head coach Jamie Morrison said. "I couldn't be prouder of Ifenna [Cos-Okpalla] and Logan [Lednicky] for the work they've put in to deserve this honor. I can't wait to see them wearing the Red, White and Blue."
Â
Cos-Okpalla and Lednicky join 17 other collegians who were selected to the Collegiate National Team to train alongside the U.S. Olympic Women's Volleyball Team in Anaheim, California, June 30-July 6.
Â
Both Aggies making the trip were standouts during the 2023 season, as the duo each secured All-South Region Team honors. Lednicky paced A&M on the offensive side, leading the team in kills (340), kills per set (3.24) and points (389.5). Cos-Okpalla was the defensive anchor for the Maroon & White, leading the team in blocks (151) and blocks per set (1.62). She also topped the nation in blocks per set.
