OMAHA – Texas A&M's Evan Aschenbeck and Kaeden Kent were named to the College World Series All-Tournament Team, as announced by NCAA officials.

With the selections, the duo becomes the first set of Aggie players to be named to the College World Series All-Tournament Team in program history.

Aschenbeck appeared in four games during Texas A&M's historic run at the College World Series, striking out 15 batters in 10.2 innings of work. All four appearances were for multiple innings, including a three-inning save in the Maroon & White's 3-2 win over Florida to kickstart the run. The lefty also closed out Texas A&M's program tying 12th shutout of the season in a 6-0 win over the Gators.

Kent continued his stellar postseason play at the Greatest Show on Dirt as the sophomore went 10-for-24 at the dish to go along with a homer and seven RBI. The Aggie second baseman recorded multiple hits in three of the six contests, including a 3-for-5 performance in the Maroon & White's game one win over Tennessee.

Texas A&M finished the season with a 53-15 mark and advanced to the College World Series Finals for the first time in school history.
