Men's Tennis 

  • Hady Habib was bested by Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, the world's No. 3 ranked player on Saturday in the first round of the men's singles bracket (3-6, 1-6). Habib was subbed into the singles draw for Lebanon on short notice after an injury to a fellow teammate on Wednesday, July 24. 
  • Habib and partner Benjamin Hassan fell to the Australian duo of Matthew Ebden and John Peers in the first round of men's doubles on Sunday (6-7 [5-7], 2-6). The loss ended Habib's first Olympic Games after representing Lebanon in singles and doubles. 

Swimming 

  • Beryl Gastaldello helped France's 4x100m free relay advance to the final after posting a top-five time in the morning session. Gastaldello went 53.83 as the leadoff swimmer to help France clock in at 3:34.99 and finish sixth.
