- Algeria's Yasser Mohammed Triki qualified for the men's triple jump final with a ninth-place finish in the qualifying round. He leaped 16.85m/55-3.5.Â
- Brandon Miller competed in the opening round of the men's 800m, crossing the line in 1:46.34, he will now compete in the repechage round of the event looking to book his spot in the semifinals.Â
- Maggie Malone-Hardin concluded her third Olympic Games with a 24th-place finish in the women's javelin, recording a mark of 58.76m/192-9.Â
Diving
- Australia's Kurtis Mathews advanced to Thursday's 3m springboard finals after placing 11th in the semifinal with a score of 417.15.Â
