Aggies to Host Maroon & White Scrimmage Sunday

The Texas A&M equestrian team is set to host its annual Maroon & White scrimmage Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M equestrian team is set to host its annual Maroon & White scrimmage Sunday morning at 11 a.m. at the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
 
Horsemanship and Flat begin at 11 a.m., while Fences and Reining are scheduled for approximately 1 p.m. Admission to the scrimmage and all home equestrian events are free.
 
The Aggies went 10-5 during the 2023-24 season, served as the No. 1 seed at the SEC Championship and advanced to the semifinals of the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship. 
 
Texas A&M returns 41 riders from a season ago, including 17 of the 20 starters from the NCEA Championship. A quartet of NCEA All-Americans lead the list of returners for the Maroon & White in Brooke Brombach (Flat), Mattie Gustin (Reining), Rylee Shufelt (Flat) and Maggie Nealon (Flat).
