HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Texas A&M golfers Mia Nixon and Sky Sudberry both tied for fifth at the Bearkat Invitational Tuesday after carding 54-hole scores of 10-over 223 at the par-71 Ravens Nest Golf Club.
Both golfers recorded career-best finishes and were the first Aggies to crack the top five in a tournament this season. Sam Houston's Grace Jin won the invitational with a 10-under 203.
Lana Calibuso-Kwee locked in a top 30 outing, tying for 26th at 22-over 235. Golfers turned in a 77.60 stroke average per round at the tourney.
