TULSA, Okla. – A successful day of play filled with two-set sweeps for the Texas A&M men's tennis team as all three players in the main brackets advance to the next round at the ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday.
Senior JC Roddick started his play at the ITA All-American Championship with a clean sweep against Kyle Kang of Stanford, 6-3, 6-4. He advances to the round of 32 to take on Alexander Bernard of Ohio State.
The dynamic doubles duo of senior Giulio Perego and junior Togan Tokac, seeded No. 3 in the main draw, defeated the duo of Billy Blaydes and William Nolan of Auburn, 6-3, 6-4. The duo is next set to face Aristotelis Thanos/Ozan Baris of Michigan State in the round of 16.
The next rounds of play in the main draw take place tomorrow, Sept. 26.
