A Night to Remember in Aggieland

The 12th Man made the SEC volleyball opener a night to remember inside Reed Arena on September 27.

The 12th Man made the SEC volleyball opener a night to remember inside Reed Arena on September 27, setting a school record with over 9,000 in attendance for the battle with the Texas Longhorns.

Not only did the crowd set an A&M record, it also was the largest regular-season crowd ever for an NCAA volleyball match inside the state of Texas.

I thought it was one of the most amazing atmospheres I’ve ever played in. And that’s including some Olympics.

The 12th Man showed out today. It was such an amazing experience and something we've dreamed of since we were little girls coming to A&M volleyball camp. Running out of the tunnel was such a surreal moment...it's something I'll remember forever.

We were about to run out, and I was like, this is so freaking awesome. It's kind of unreal...it was just so much fun. The atmosphere, the fans, you could just feel their support.

I don't know that I can have enough gratitude to the 12th Man for showing up and showing out and being loud and being vocal and being a piece of it.
