BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M punter Tyler White has been tabbed the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. It marks the first career weekly honor for the freshman. Â

White landed five punts inside the 10 and seven inside the 15, while he finished with a game-long 58 yard punt in the win over Arkansas. The Razorbacks' average starting field position following his nine punts was their own 14-yard line.

The Southlake, Texas, native has averaged 46.1 yards per punt this season, including five boots of 50-plus yards and landing 11-of-16 inside the 20.Â

White is the first Aggie punter to earn the weekly accolade since Nik Constantinou on Sept. 19, 2022.Â

Texas A&M returns to action Saturday hosting No. 9 Missouri at Kyle Field. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. on ABC.
