BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M punter Tyler White has been named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week, the league announced Monday. It marks the second honor of White's career in as many weeks. Â

White punted three times with an average of 46.3 yards per boot, including game-long 53-yard punt in the big win over No. 9 Missouri. The freshman showcased his versatility as a punter as he wedged a 48-yard boot down to Missouri 1-yard line in the first half.Â

The Southlake, Texas, native is the first Aggie punter to earn the SEC weekly honor in back-to-back weeks since Braden Mann in 2018 on Oct. 1 and Oct. 8.

White has averaged 46.1 yards per punt this season, including six boots of 50-plus yards and he has landed 12-of-19 inside the 20.
