FORT WORTH – The Texas A&M women's tennis team continues its fall campaign competing in the TCU Invitational at the Friedman Tennis Center Friday to Sunday.

The tournament field features players from BYU, Notre Dame, Arizona, Illinois, Maryland, Rice, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Baylor, SMU, Oklahoma, Missouri, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, Kansas and LSU.

Four Aggies make the trip to TCU's campus, highlighted by No. 88 Jeanette Mireles, Daria Smetannikov, Lizanne Boyer and Lexington Reed. Mireles began her season at the ITA All-American championships and paired with Nicole Khirin to grab their first ranked doubles win of the year against BYU's No. 52 Kendall Kovick/Sue Yan Tan. Smetannikov is 7-2 in singles this season and won the blue draw singles title at the H-E-B Invite. The senior also battled her way to the ITA Texas Regional semifinals.

Additionally, freshman Lexington Reed and senior Lizanne Boyer round out the lineup for the Maroon & White. Reed made her debut for the Aggies in the H-E-B invitational, where she picked up two singles wins. The freshman qualified for her first ever main draw of a 100k pro tournament at the W100 Tyler, picking up three wins in the process. Boyer added her first singles win of the season in the H-E-B tournament as well.

Matches begin on Thursday with singles starting at 2 p.m., followed by doubles at 4 p.m. The Aggies match up with Baylor in doubles and will then take them on in singles at 5 p.m.
