Egan Named NCEA Fences Rider of the Month

Kate Egan of the Texas A&M equestrian team has been named the Arion Sellier Fences Rider of the Month for October, as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Wednesday.

WACO – Kate Egan of the Texas A&M equestrian team has been named the Arion Sellier Fences Rider of the Month for October, as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Wednesday.  

Egan compiled a perfect 4-0 record in the month of October and earned three MOP honors. In the four meets, the sophomore logged an average score of 88.7 and defeated her opponents by an average of 6.2 points. Against Georgia, the sophomore set a new regular season program record with a 93 on Giovanni.
 
Egan looks to continue her strong start to the season this Saturday as the Aggies travel to face No. 1 Auburn at 11 a.m. at the Auburn University Equestrian Center.
