BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women's basketball team welcomes UTSA and nearly 5,000 children of the Brazos Valley to Reed Arena Thursday at 11 a.m. for the program's annual Elementary School Day Game.

The Maroon & White (0-1) looks to rebound from Monday's season opening loss against the Roadrunners (0-0) on Thursday morning. Texas A&M was led in the game by Jada Malone who posted a team-high 11 points with nine rebounds in 16 minutes of action. The matchup will open the year for UTSA who is coming off a season where it advanced to the second round of the 2024 WNIT.
Â
Last season, the Elementary School Day Game resulted in a win for the Aggies against Lamar, 83-51. It marked the fourth largest total attendance for an elementary school day for the program, as 7,529 children and other members of the 12th Man yelled for the Maroon & White.
