BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M volleyball team added outside/opposite hitter Taryn Morris to the 2025 signing class, head coach Jamie Morrison announced Thursday.

Joining the Maroon & White from Little Elm, Texas, Morris provides the Aggies a range of options thanks to her world-class arm and ability to play both outside and opposite. Standing out across the country, Morris was noticed as one of the nation's best as she was named a Prep Volleyball All-American.

"Taryn [Morris] has the potential to play on either pin as an opposite or outside," Morrison said. "She is a rarity in the junior's world in that she plays six rotations as an opposite. With that comes just about every tool you can have. She plays good defense, has a good serve, and plays an all-around game. However, what makes her stick out is her arm and range. She hits a heavy ball and has the ability to move it around all over the court. What you learn as you get to know her more is a sense of joy and love of learning. She can take coaching and immediately make change, something we value a lot here. We can't wait to get her to Aggieland."

Taking her talents to the national stage, Morris' performances earned her a spot on the USA National Team Development Program where she trained among the country's best. Her first involvement with the program came back in 2022 and she has since continued to impress staying involved with the national team for the past two years.

Helping her club team's reach new heights, Morris led Drive Nation to the USA Volleyball National Qualifier Title. She then doubled down with standout finishes, representing Texas Advantage Volleyball her group secured a top-five finish at the USA Volleyball Nationals.
