BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M volleyball team added setter Kirra Musgrove to the 2025 signing class, head coach Jamie Morrison announced Thursday.
Joining the Aggies from Houston, Musgrove brings a wealth of experience and versatility to Aggieland. She joins the team as a designated setter, however she makes her presence felt around the court, as she amassed 2,030 assists, 1,854 kills and 1,271 digs throughout her four-year high school career. She was selected to the U19 Women's National Team training roster in 2024 and has been involved with the USA National Team Development Program since 2021.
"Kirra [Musgrove] is first and foremost one of the best setters in the class," Morrison said. "She has great touch as a setter and experience running a fast offense that will fit what we are trying to do in Aggieland. She is also a physical athlete that can play the opposite position if needed and adds a presence at the net as a blocker regardless of what position she is playing. She has played up a year at the club level for the past 2 seasons and brings a wealth of USA and club experience to Texas A&M. With that comes poise in big moments and an ability to control the court. We can't wait to get her to College Station."
Tabbed as the No. 24 ranked overall recruit in the 2025 class, Musgrove has been a standout throughout her high school and club career, garnering a plethora of honors including being named a Prep Volleyball All-American, District MVP and Varsity Team MVP. While at Lutheran South Academy, she was named to the 5A State Championship All-Tournament Team in back-to-back years and was awarded 2023 VYPE Private School Setter of the Year.
Musgrove is a difference maker on the court, and led her club team, Houston Skyline, to a third-place finish in 17 Open at the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships in 2022 and was named to the All-Tournament Team. On the high school level, she helped her team secure a runner-up finish at the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools State Championships, once again earning All-Tournament team honors.
