
Softball Inks Three to 2025 Signing Class

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M softball head coach Trisha Ford announced the additions of Annsley Groce, Maddie Sauni and Piper White to the 2025 signing class.
"I'm exciting about this class coming to Aggieland," Ford said. "It's a smaller signing class after having a large group last season. We needed to address some critical areas and I believe we did a good job at filling those holes that will help us continue the growth of this program."
Annsley Groce – Outfield (L/R) – Keller, Texas (Keller HS)
Previous Athletic Experience: Two-year varsity letter winner at Keller High School coached by Chad Cribbs … Played club ball for Texas Glory for three seasons coached by Kevin Shelton … Boasts a career .545 batting average and has 55 stolen bases.
Personal: Plans to major in communications … Siblings Gavin ('24) and Landra ('26) attend Texas A&M … Is an active member in National Honor Society … Has been riding horses her entire life and has even trained a mustang.
Maddie Sauni – Catcher (R/R) – Laie, Hawaii (Hamilton HS)
Previous Athletic Experience: Tabbed a 4-star prospect by On3/Softball America and ranked No. 25 overall in the nation, No. 5 catcher in the country and No. 2 overall in Arizona in the 2025 class … Has earned a varsity letter every season at Hamilton High School coached by Lauren Rosales and has played three seasons for AZ Rising coached by Steve Appel … District Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 … As a junior she batted .446 at the dish with 11 home runs, 13 doubles and two triples, while adding 38 RBI and scoring 38 runs … Also plays flag football.
Personal: Plans to major in kinesiology … Is an active member of the National Honor Society … Played tackle football beginning in kindergarten until the age of nine before she started playing softball.
Piper White – Utility (L/R) – Alamo, Tenn. (Crockett County HS)
Previous Athletic Experience: Four year varsity letter winner at Crockett County High School coached by Baron Jimmerson and has played six years with Fury Platinum X coached by Jeremy Hidden … Was hitter of the year, offensive player of the year and all-region member in 2024 … As a junior, she batted .562 at the plate, including an OPS of 1.400 with one home run, 11 doubles, nine triples, while driving in 24 runs and stealing 45 bases … Playing club ball she was named to the Tier 1 alliance All-Tournament team … She is also a member of her school's volleyball team that made it to state, while earning all-district and all-region honors.
Personal: Plans to major in sports management … Earned honor roll recognition and is an active member in student council … Spends time in community involvement through her church serving at local food drives and organizing Christmas boxes … In her free time, she enjoys traveling and has visited most of the 50 states, while even serving on a mission trip in Mexico for a week.
