Garcia Leads Aggies on Day Two of Texas Diving Invitational

AUSTIN – Texas A&M diving continued its weekend at the Texas Diving Invitational Saturday at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center.

AUSTIN – Texas A&M diving continued its weekend at the Texas Diving Invitational Saturday at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center. 

Leonardo Garcia was the top performer of the evening for the Aggies. The Colombia native placed second in the 3-meter final with a score of 407.95 after scoring 392.95 in prelims. Rhett Hensley and Matthew Aigner placed 14th and 18th in prelims with scores of 302.70 and 268.65, respectively.  

On the women's side, Julie Moons (252.00) and Else Praasterink (250.80) placed 15th and 16th, respectively. Diana Soto scored 214.25 to place 30th. 

The Aggies wrap up competition with women's platform beginning at 10 a.m. and men's platform starting at 1:15 p.m. Live results can be found here.
