Texas A&M Returns Home for Art Adamson Invitational

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M swimming & diving program is set to close the 2024 slate of the season with the annual Art Adamson Invitational, running Nov. 20-22 at the Rec Center Natatorium. The men's team is currently ranked No. 23 and the women rank No. 22 nationally.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M swimming & diving program is set to close the 2024 slate of the season with the annual Art Adamson Invitational, running Nov. 20-22 at the Rec Center Natatorium. The men's team is currently ranked No. 23 and the women rank No. 22 nationally.  

Joining the Aggies in College Station are Air Force, Incarnate Word, TCU, Utah and Washington State. 

The Maroon & White are fresh off dual meet victories against Missouri. 

Connor Foote led the way for the men in Columbia, notching first place in the 50 free with a time of 19.94, and later placed second in the 100 free with a 43.82. Thomas Shomper went a B-cut time of 1:43.08 in the 200 back to place first. 

Chloe Stepanek looks to continue her success in freestyle events after claiming the top time in the 100 (48.59) and 200 (1:44.23) against Missouri. Olivia Theall was dominant in butterfly action, logging first-place finishes in the 100 (52.44) and 200 (1:55.94).  

The men's and women's 400 medley relay each delivered first-place times in Columbia, with the men's squad of Shomper, Foote, Travis Gulledge and Ben Scholl clocking a 3:09.60, and the women's squad of Stepanek, Theall, Kaitlyn Owens and Bobbi Kennett clocking a 3:33.07. 

Prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. and finals will start at 5:30 p.m. each day. Results can be found on the Meet Mobile App and streaming for finals can be found on SEC Network+
