COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Texas A&M volleyball team concludes its regular-season slate on the road as it faces the Gamecocks Saturday in the Carolina Volleyball Center with first serve set for 12 p.m.
Â
Closing the 2024 regular-season conference campaign on the road, the fifth-ranked Aggies (9-6) take on eighth ranked South Carolina (7-8). Both programs carry wins into the fixture, with the Maroon & White on a three-match streak, while the Gamecocks claimed a 3-2 victory over Florida Wednesday.
Â
A&M enters the Carolina Volleyball Center looking to reach double-digit wins in league play for the first time since 2019, however South Carolina excel on their home court with a 10-4 record. The Aggies bring their stout defense on the road, as they rank third in the SEC in opponent hitting percentage (.190) and fourth in blocks per set (2.47). Â
Â
The teams have met 20 times in their history, with the Maroon & White dominating the all-time series, 17-3. When playing on the road, the Aggies are 9-2 and secured victory in their last four visits to Columbia.
Â
Last time out, the Aggies capped off seniors Molly Brown and Ellee Stinson's home finale with a resounding 3-1 victory over LSU to claim their third-straight win.
