Aggies Conclude Successful Trip to the Farnsworth Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Texas A&M men's tennis team went 25-11 during the three-day Farnsworth Invitational at the Racquet Center at the Meadows Campus.
On Friday, the Aggies started the tournament with a 9-3 day of action. In doubles play, the Maroon & White completed a perfect day with four wins against players from Rice and Washington. Senior Giulio Perego claimed a hard-fought victory over Emir Sendogan of Rice, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
The momentum continued on Saturday, with another sweep in doubles play, taking home four wins against duos from Princeton and Washington. In singles play, the Aggies went 4-4, with junior Togan Tokac claiming his second singles win of the weekend over Landon Ardila of Princeton, 4-6, 6-3, 6-0.
The tournament concluded with the Maroon & White facing players from UNC. The Aggies went 8-4, finishing out doubles play with an 11-1 record overall.
Tokac and partner Luke Casper, duo Grant Lothringer and Ethan Silva, and duo Matthis Ross and Tiago Pires all went undefeated in doubles throughout the three-day tournament.
Casper, Lothringer, Pires, Silva and Ritesh Patil all concluded the tournament with two singles wins.
