Three Aggies Garner SEC Rider of the Month Honors

Texas A&M's Brooke Brombach (Flat), Gracie Casebolt (Reining) and Kate Egan (Fences) have been named SEC Riders of the Month for their respective disciplines, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.

BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M's Brooke Brombach (Flat), Gracie Casebolt (Reining) and Kate Egan (Fences) have been named SEC Riders of the Month for October in their respective disciplines, as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon.

Brombach recorded a perfect 4-0 record and one MOP during the month of October in Flat. At No. 6 Georgia, the senior recorded a season-best score of 88 on Sally. In her four rides, Brombach logged an average score of 83 and defeated her opponents by an average margin of 4.3.
 
Egan, who was also tabbed as the NCEA Rider of the Month for Fences, went 4-0 in October and garnered three MOP honors along the way. Against No. 6 Georgia, the sophomore set a new regular season program record with a 93 on Giovanni. Egan registered an average score of 88.7 in her four rides and an average win margin of 6.2.
 
In Reining, Casebolt logged a 4-0 record to go along with one MOP honor. The junior logged a career-high 71.75 in the Aggies win over SMU and recorded an average score of 71.25 in her four rides.
 
Texas A&M returns to action Saturday at 11 a.m. as they travel to face No. 1 Auburn at the Auburn University Equestrian center.
