The Aggies (5-4) turned in a defensive masterclass against Syracuse on Wednesday, holding the Orange to 27.4% from the field and 22 points below their season average for a 57-45 victory.

Janae Kent and Taliyah Parker both recorded career highs in points with 14 each. Six different Aggies have led the team in scoring in a game this season. The Maroon & White comes in as the No. 17 ranked team in the country in blocks per game (5.7) with Lauren Ware leading the effort to protect the basket (2.0).

Kansas State (9-1) is led by All-American Ayoka Lee who is averaging 17.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. The Wildcats bring a four-game winning streak to Aggieland. The two programs have not faced off since Dec. 19, 2012, when the Aggies won, 86-60.
