How has your transition to college been?
“It been good. I think time management of homework and softball is always a struggle but as the months went on, I believe I’ve been better with it.”
What are your individual and team goals for this season?
“Individually, I want to grow stronger. As a team I think just pushing it to the next level and adding to it in any part that I can. Whether that means running on the field and supporting my teammates, just any part that I can.”
Why did you choose to play for Texas A&M?
“The community here and it's a family tradition. Numerous members of my family have attended Texas A&M and my sister played here. Experiencing what she did, I wanted to be able to have that as well.”
How has the experience been competing at the college level?
“It's interesting and it's always going to be a challenge. Getting used to the accommodations and everything that comes with it is always a learning experience but, it is exciting.”

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
“Probably mind reading. When I am talking to someone, I want to know what they are thinking. When people are talking to me, I am thinking of stuff too and I’m curious if they can hear me.”
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
“I like to read, I started to read last summer and once I started I couldn’t stop. I used to love reading mystery, but now I am into romance, which is very odd for me since I am not a big romantic person.”
What is your favorite part of road trips with a team?
“Getting to spend time with teammates. The bus rides are always fun and are where you make the most memories. Singing, dancing, getting ready on the bus and doing homework next to your teammates has always been the best experience.”
How was your experience as a senior helping lead your team to the state title and earning MVP honors?
“We worked hard as a team throughout my senior year. Although I missed a big chunk of it due to injury, the team kept pushing. Once I got back we all worked together because we all had one goal and that was to win state. When we got there, we knew we had to finish. Obviously getting state MVP was something I always wanted and it's a big reward to be given after all the hard work I put in. It was really special receiving that award to finish the career that I had in high school.”
