Texas A&M Quotes
Head Coach Brian Kortan
On the day's action...
"All the teams in our group struggled a little bit. But that's golf. You have tee times and you have to handle the conditions you're presented with. We didn't do that as well as we could have. We needed to be more disciplined and efficient the entire round. We were at times and we weren't that far from having a good round. In the end, you're the score you post and we've go to do a better job of taking care of the golf ball and be more efficient."
On the opportunity to leapfrog some elite teams in the final round...
"That's what we signed up for. We knew coming in this would be a good field. It's a field we should be in and it's a field we can compete in. We're getting close and we had a good round yesterday. We're not that far from the top, within 10 shots. We have to play a great round tomorrow. I know the guys are resilient and they will battle all day tomorrow to do the best they can."
