Maroon Defeats White, 24-10, to Close Spring Practice

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The 2024 Maroon & White game saw the Maroon team come out victorious, earning a 24-10 victory Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field as fans got their first chance to see the Aggies in action under new head coach Mike Elko.
Noah Thomas helped lead the offense for the Maroon team with seven catches for 82 yards and a pair of touchdown grabs, while Le’Veon Moss added 69 yards on the ground on 13 attempts, putting the Maroon team on the board early with a 5-yard sprint to the end zone.

Ethan Moczulski got things started for the White team, sending a 42-yard attempt through the uprights early in the first quarter. Rueben Owens took off for a 61-yard trip to the end zone late in the fourth quarter to add points on the board for the White team. He finished the game with 77 yards on four carries.
Nic Scourton impressed in his Maroon & White debut, tallying seven tackles, 3.5 for loss, while contributing to both teams in the game. Shemar Stewart added seven tackles for the White team and Marcus Ratcliffe registered six takedowns in his Aggie debut
The Aggies open the 2024 season on Aug. 31 against Notre Dame at Kyle Field.
