Men's Tennis
- Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram recorded another straight-set victory en route the quarterfinals after defeating the Brazilian duo of Thiago Monteiro and Thiago Seyboth Wild (6-4, 7-6 [7-3]). Krajicek and Ram cruised through the first set with a strong 6-4 showing. They continued to dominate, jumping out to a 4-1 set advantage in the second, but Brazil rattled off three-consecutive games to knot things up at 4-4. The two pairs would trade sets and force a tie breaker that saw Brazil take the initial momentum at 2-1. USA turned its fortunes and won six of the next seven points to advance to the quarters. Krajicek and Ram will take on Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz of Spain at noon tomorrow on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
Swimming
- In her individual finals debut at the Paris Games, Beryl Gastaldello clocked in at 59.80 in the 100m back to place eighth. After advancing to the 100m free semifinals during the morning session, Gastaldello was also in action in the 100m free at night. She placed 16th with a time of 54.29.
- Aviv Barzelay clocked in at 1:20.30 in the 100m back prelims, placing 25th in her debut at the Paris Games.
