BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M softball's Mac Barbara, Emiley Kennedy and Koko Wooley have been named to the Softball America Preseason Top 100 Player List, the organization announced Monday.Â

Kennedy ranks No. 6 overall and No. 3 among pitchers, while Wooley is No. 79 and Barbara No. 88 overall. Wooley (SS) and Barbara (1B) each rank sixth at their respective positions.Â

Coming off a remarkable junior season, Kennedy garnered All-America honors to become the first Aggie left-handed pitcher to earn the recognition in 41 years. The A&M ace appeared in 43 games a season ago finishing with a 24-11 record and a 1.93 ERA. Nationally, Kennedy registered the third-most shutouts (10) and complete games (24), while ranking top-20 in the country in wins (24), strikeouts (200) and innings pitched (202.2). A native of The Woodlands, Texas, she earned All-SEC First Team honors after leading the league with 100.1 innings pitched and ranked second with nine wins, while appearing in every game in seven-of-eight SEC series.

Wooley returns as one of Texas A&M's biggest offensive threats as she led the team a season ago in batting average (.382), hits (60), multi-hit games (21) and stolen bases (19). The La Porte, Texas, native earned NFCA All-South Region First Team honors and All-SEC Second Team recognition. Wooley led the Aggies with a .467 batting average, 14 hits and six runs in postseason action, which included the program's first semifinal appearance in the SEC Tournament and first NCAA Super Regional appearance since 2018.Â

Barbara, a graduate transfer from San Diego State, led the Mountain West in on-base percentage (.508), while her 14 home runs were fifth-most in the league in 2024. The Long Beach, California, native was named the Mountain West co-Player of the Year and MWC Tournament MVP after leading SDSU to a 31-20 record that included a league tournament title and a third-straight NCAA Regional appearance. Barbara has appeared in 175 career games, including 163 starts. She owns a career .368 batting average and 1.200 OPS with 179 hits, including 45 home runs, 31 doubles and 104 walks, while driving in 156 RBI and adding 100 runs.
