VESTMANNAEYJAR, Iceland – Texas A&M soccer standout Allison Lowrey signed a professional contract with IBV (Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja), the club recently announced.

VESTMANNAEYJAR, Iceland – Texas A&M soccer standout Allison Lowrey signed a professional contract with IBV (Íþróttabandalag Vestmannaeyja), the club recently announced.
 
In 2025, IBV will play in 1. Deild Kvenna looking for promotion to Iceland's top league.
 
Last season Lowrey played in 13 matches for the Aggies, including two starts. She tailed four points on one goal and two assists.
 
Lowrey arrived in Aggieland as a grad transfer from Rutgers. During her time with the Scarlet Knights, she appeared in 80 matches, including 41 starts. Lowrey tallied 57 points for her career with 21 goals and 15 assists.
 
Iceland has been a professional launching point for a handful of Aggies, including Asdis Halldorsdottir, Sammy Smith and Taylor Ziemer. Halldorsdottir now plays for Lillestrøm SK Kvinner in Norway. Ziemer is starring with 1. FC Köln in Germany. Smith recently signed with Breidablik, playing in Iceland's top league.
