BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M softball's Mac Barbara, Emiley Kennedy and Koko Wooley have been named to the Preseason All-SEC Team, the league announced Thursday.Â

Kennedy led the SEC last season with 100.1 innings pitched, while ranking second with nine wins and third with three saves. The Aggie ace appeared in every game in seven-of-eight SEC series and was named SEC Pitcher of the Week on two occasions. The left-handed pitcher owned a 2.09 ERA in SEC action, while opposing batters averaged .188 at the plate. Kennedy went the distance in 11 of 14 starts in league play.

Wooley finished SEC action with eight stolen bases, the second most in the league. In 2024, she led the Aggies in hits (19) and was second in batting average (.297) in SEC play. Wooley added All-Tournament Team honors after hitting 3-for-7 with a double and three RBI in two games at the 2024 SEC Tournament to help send Texas A&M to its first semifinal appearance in program history. Â

Barbara, a San Diego State transfer, earned Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Year recognition a year ago after leading the league in on-base percentage (.508) and her 14 home runs were fifth-most.Â
