WACO – Ellie Gerbrandt of the Texas A&M equestrian team has earned Western Ride of the Week honors from the National Collegiate Equestrian Association, as announced Wednesday.
The award marks the second of the season for the senior, who earned the distinction following a ride of 74 on Sam in Horsemanship against No. 7 SMU.
Gerbrandt and the Maroon & White return to action Saturday at 10 a.m. as they travel to face No. 8 South Carolina at the One Wood Farm.
