Texas A&M (7-5, 1-1 SEC) started slow against conference opponent Arkansas (12-4, 2-1 SEC), losing both courts 2 and 3 to drop the doubles point to start the match.

The Hogs kept up the momentum, claiming court 4. The Maroon & White responded on court 3 with sophomore Tiago Pires extending his winning streak to four against Marino Jakic, 6-3, 6-4. Arkansas then bounced back, claiming courts 1 and 6 to clinch the win.
