WACO – Devon Thomas of the Texas A&M equestrian team has been named the Arion Sellier Fences Rider of the Month for February, as announced by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Wednesday. Â

Thomas is the second Aggie this season to earn the award, joining teammate Kate Egan.

In the month of February, the fifth-year senior compiled a 4-1 record to go along with a pair of MOP honors. Thomas recorded an average score of 83.4 and win margin of 5.3 throughout the month. Against No. 3 Georgia, the Millburn, N.J., native scored a career-high 92 on Chapman en route to MOP honors.

Thomas and the Aggies conclude the regular season with a home matchup against No. 1 Auburn on Saturday at noon from the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
