BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M equestrian student-athlete Devon Thomas has been named the SEC Fences Rider of the Month for February, as announced by the league office Friday.

Thomas, who also earned the honor from the NCEA, compiled a 4-1 record to go along with a pair of MOP honors in February. The Millburn, N.J., native recorded an average score of 83.4 and win margin of 5.3 throughout the month. Against No. 3 Georgia, Thomas scored a career-high 92 on Chapman en route to MOP honors.

Thomas and the Aggies conclude the regular season with a home matchup against No. 1 Auburn on Saturday at noon from the Hildebrand Equine Complex.
