The Aggies will send the southpaw trio of Ryan Prager, Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton to the mound for the weekend. The trio has been dominant this season, combining for a 1.94 ERA and 105 strikeouts in 88.1 innings of work.
Prager leads the way for the group as the redshirt junior holds a 2-0 record to go along with a 1.48 ERA and 0.89 WHIP. In 30.1 innings of work, the lefty has struck out 31 batters and held opponents to a .155 average.
Â
In addition to the elite rotation, the Texas A&M pitching staff is off to a strong start as the group sits fifth nationally in ERA with a 2.98 mark. The Aggies also rank 11th in walks allowed per nine (3.14) and 17th in WHIP (1.20).
Â
Freshman Terrence Kiel II continues to pace the offense as the rookie leads the team with a .415 average and six stolen bases. The rookie has also driven in 12 RBI and doubled four times. Among the SEC, Kiel ranks eighth in batting average. Â
