2024 (FRESHMAN): Started eight of 11 games he appeared in, including three straight wins in his first three career starts ... Ranked first among SEC quarterbacks averaging 4.7 yards per carry, while his 49.4 yards per game and seven rushing scores were fourth among SEC signal callers ... His 22 touchdowns (15 pass, 7 rush) this season ranks second in the SEC among freshmen ... Made his season debut passing 5-of-11 for 71 yards and rushing for 43 yards on seven carries in the win over McNeese ... Completed 20-of-33 passes for 361 yards and rushed for 29 yards on 10 carries and one score in the bowl game ... Threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Jaden Platt in the win over ACU for his first collegiate score through the air.
