BIRMINGHAM – Mattie Gustin of the Texas A&M equestrian team has been named the SEC Reining Rider of the Month for March, as announced by the league office Thursday.

In the Aggies' lone contest of the month, Gustin claimed MOP honors against No. 1 Auburn with a score of 72 on Tank. The MOP award was the senior's third of the season and fifth of her career. The win improved Gustin's record to 9-3-1 on the year.

The Maroon & White return to action Friday, March 28 for the SEC Championship as they face Georgia at 9 a.m. from the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, N.C.
