BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 5 Texas A&M team run-ruled LMU, 13-1, in five innings, while All-American Emiley Kennedy recorded her 10th win of the season, Friday night at Davis Diamond.

Texas A&M (29-5) loaded the bases with no outs in the opening frame after Kennedy Powell and Amari Harper walked, while Mya Perez followed with a single to right field. Mac Barbara drove in Powell with an RBI ground out before Koko Wooley made it a 2-0 game with a sac fly to center field.

Olivia Johnson hit a solo jack to left field to make it a three-run game in the second inning. Harper doubled to lead off the third frame, while Barbara was hit-by-pitch and Wooley singled to load the bases with one out. Allie Enright singled up the middle to score Harper for her 20th RBI of the season. Johnson reached on a throwing error by the shortstop as Wooley scored and Enright scored to make it a 6-0 lead after the third.Â

LMU (14-18) was sat down in order to begin the fourth before Ol' Sarge's charges exploded for seven runs on four hits and one error as 11 different Aggies had a plate appearance. Six of the seven runs scored in the inning were driven in by pinch hitters, including Kylei Griffin, Kelsey Mathis and DeeDee Baldwin bringing home a run and Frankie Vrazel and Hailey Golden each driving in two runs.

Emiley Kennedy moved to 10-3 on the season going 5.0 innings and seven strikeouts, while yielding one run, four walks and three hits.
