No. 13 Aggies Face Road Challenge Versus No. 12 Bulldogs

The No. 13 Texas A&M men's tennis team faces a top 15 road challenge versus the No. 12 Mississippi State Bulldogs Thursday, April 3, with a 3:00 p.m. first serve at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Center.

STARKVILLE – The No. 13 Texas A&M men's tennis team faces a top 15 road challenge versus the No. 12 Mississippi State Bulldogs Thursday, April 3, with a 3:00 p.m. first serve at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Center.

Texas A&M (15-6, 8-2 SEC) looks to build off the momentum after a 4-1 victory over Kentucky on Sunday afternoon. The Aggies have only dropped one conference match on the road against the Arkansas Razorbacks in late February.

The Maroon & White earned the coveted doubles point on Sunday with wins from duos of junior Togan Tokac and freshman Theo Papamalamis and senior Alan Magadan and sophomore Tiago Pires. Senior Luke Casper, Pires and Papamalamis each earned ranked singles wins to secure the victory over the Wildcats.

Mississippi State (17-4, 7-3 SEC) is currently on a three-match winning streak at home. The two teams met last season, with the Maroon & White sweeping the fellow Maroon & White, 7-0. Seniors JC Roddick and Giulio Perego, Tokac and Pires all secured singles points against the Bulldogs.

Fans can watch the match through the Mississippi State's live stream or follow with live stats.
