Aggies Ready for Three-Game Set at No. 1 Tennessee

The Texas A&M baseball team will look to claim its first SEC series win of the year as it travels to face No. 1 Tennessee in a three-game set, starting Friday night at 6 p.m. CST at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

KNOXVILLE – The Texas A&M baseball team will look to claim its first SEC series win of the year as it travels to face No. 1 Tennessee in a three-game set, starting Friday night at 6 p.m. CST at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Game two of the series is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. CST, while Sunday's finale is slated for 2 p.m. CST.
 
Friday (ESPNU) and Sunday's (ESPN2) contests will air on the ESPN family of networks, while Saturday's middle game will be streamed on SECN+. The three-game set can also be heard locally on SportsRadio 1150 AM/93.7 The Zone. In addition, fans can follow along with the series through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball. 
 
Friday's series opener marks the 25th meeting all-time between the Aggies (14-14, 1-8) and Volunteers (27-2, 8-1). The two clubs met four times in the postseason a year ago, including in the College World Series Finals. The Maroon & White are 12-12 against Tennessee and 6-6 in Knoxville.
 
The Aggies will send the southpaw trio of Ryan Prager, Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton to the mound for the weekend. The trio has been strong this season, combining for a 3.64 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 127 strikeouts in 118.2 innings of work.
 
The Volunteers will counter with left-hander Liam Doyle on Friday and right-hander Marcus Phillips on Saturday. Sunday's starter has yet to be announced for Tennessee.
 
Bear Harrison and Ben Royo have paced the offensive attack of late for the Maroon & White. Harrison has slashed .500/.583/1.214 over the last 10 games to go along with five homers and 14 RBI. Royo has lifted three homers and driven in seven RBI, while batting .500 over the last five games.
