BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M men's tennis' Ethan Silva was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the league office announced on Thursday.

Silva has been involved in the Bryan-College Station community since transferring in 2023. The junior has tallied over 15 hours of service at the Aggieland Humane Society. He helps keep the pets in top physical and mental health during their stay, ensuring their readiness for adoption.

Silva has also dedicated time to the youth in the area. Visiting local elementary schools whenever he gets the chance, Silva reads to the students to reinforce the importance of learning and literacy at a formative age. Â
