Due to inclement weather, Friday's rubber match between No. 4 Texas A&M and No. 2 Tennessee has been suspended and is set to resume Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Texas A&M leading 5-0 in the middle of the second inning at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.

KNOXVILLE – Due to inclement weather, Friday's rubber match between No. 4 Texas A&M and No. 2 Tennessee has been suspended and is set to resume Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with Texas A&M leading 5-0 in the middle of the second inning at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.

The Aggies punched first in the opening frame after consecutive doubles from Mac Barbara and Amari Harper to put the Aggies up 3-0. Koko Wooley reached first after a four pitch walk, while Mya Perez flared a one-out single to shallow center field. Barbara doubled through the left side to score Wooley, while Harper doubled to left center as Perez and Barbara crossed home plate.

Aggie starter Emiley Kennedy forced a pop up to begin the bottom of the first, followed by a walk before she struck out the next two batters to end the inning.

The Maroon & White hung another crooked frame in the second after Kelsey Mathis blasted her first career home run to make it 4-0. Wooley earned her second walk of the game and stole second before Perez singled through the left side to score Wooley and put the Aggies up 5-0.

Saturday's game can be streamed on SEC Network+, while all Aggie games can be heard on the 12th Man Mobile app or locally on Willy 1550 AM.
