BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M soccer team unveiled an exciting eight-match non-conference slate for the 2025 season Wednesday, featuring a strong Lone Star State flavor.
Â
The schedule is highlighted by five matches at Ellis Field and five contests against in-state rivals. With Texas also on the SEC docket, the Maroon & White have six regular season matches against Lone Star State opposition for just the third time in school annals and the first time since 2002.
Â
"I'm excited for our season ticket holders and the 12th Man to be able to see this group of talented young Aggies competing for them at Ellis Field," head coach G Guerrieri said. "This will be a very challenging slate of games for our young team, but that's nothing new for this program. We have always looked to play a variety of top-end teams around the nation who are expected to be in the hunt for their conference championships."
Â
The eight opponents combined for a .621 winning percentage in 2024 and six of the teams posted a winning record. The schedule features a pair of Big 12 squads along with a Big East power.
Â
The season opens with a four-match home stand. The Maroon & White host a Thursday-Sunday weekend with bouts against Baylor (Aug. 14) and Lamar (Aug. 17). They follow up with a rare Wednesday-Saturday tandem of games with Texas State (Aug. 20) and UConn (Aug. 23) visiting Ellis Field.
Â
The Aggies take their lone non-conference plane trip to play Denver on Thursday, Aug. 28 followed by a home match against Lafayette on Sunday, Aug. 31.
Â
The non-conference schedule concludes with two bus trips. The Aggies head to SFA on Thursday, Sept. 4 and TCU on Sunday, Sept. 7.
"I know that our great promotions and marketing folks have got some incredible add-on experiences to enhance the experience for all our games at Ellis Field and will add on to an already fun night," Guerrieri said. "No matter if you're a VIP member of our Aggie Soccer Club or a young family bringing kids and friends to the game, or if you are an A&M student coming to represent as The 12th Man, we know you will have a fun experience seeing this team fight to win for you."
Â
Texas A&M will warm up for the 2025 season with two home exhibition matches, including Wednesday, Aug. 6 against Rice and Saturday, Aug. 9 versus UTRGV.
