WACO – The No. 2 Texas A&M women's tennis team faces No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers in Thursday's NCAA Tournament quarterfinal action. Match time is 4 p.m. at Baylor's Hurd Tennis Center.

The Aggies boast a 28-3 record overall while going 14-1 in conference play, earning a share of their fourth consecutive SEC regular season crown. So far in NCAA Tournament action, Texas A&M beat Quinnipiac (4-0), UC Santa Barbara (4-1) and UCLA (4-2) to advance to a fourth consecutive Elite Eight. The Aggies are the lone team to advance to four straight Elite Eights. Texas A&M looks to advance to the national semifinals for the third time in school history, first time in back-to-back years.

The Maroon & White are led by No. 1 ITA ranked singles player Mary Stoiana, followed by No. 13 Nicole Khirin, No. 51 Lucciana Perez, No. 67 Mia Kupres, and No. 109 Daria Smetannikov. In doubles are recently mixing it up, Khirin/Perez have yet to drop a match while Kupres/Stoiana and Reed/Smettanikov have dominated as well. Since doubling up, Kupres/Stoiana bring in a 2-0 record, with Khirin/Perez are 3-0.

The Volunteers come into Aggieland with an overall record of 20-7, including 10-5 in the SEC. After upsetting No. 7 Virginia in the Super Regionals, Tennessee looks to win a fifth national championship after winning four consecutive 2010-2013.
