McMillan Adds Spanish National Team Member Domínguez

Bucky McMillan continued to build the Aggies' 2025-26 roster with the addition of Spanish National Team guard Rubén Domínguez.

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M men's basketball coach Bucky McMillan continued to build the Aggies' 2025-26 roster with the addition of Spanish National Team guard Rubén Domínguez.
 
Domínguez, from Puerto Real, Spain, helped lead Spain to the gold medals at the U16 Euro Championship A in 2019 and the U20 Euro Championship A in 2022. In 35 career games with the national team, Domínguez has averaged 13.0 points while connecting on 42.3% of his field goal attempts. Competing at the U20 Euros in 2022 and 2023, Domínguez hit over 41.0% of his 3-point attempts. He was named the MVP of the 2019 U16 Euro Championships.
 
The 6-foot-5 Domínguez is a seasoned international player with more than 150 games under his belt. In 2024-25, Domínguez averaged 7.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in just under 16 minutes per game with Surne Bilbao Basket while hitting 47.3% from the field, 43.3% from beyond the arc and 88.9 from the free throw line. He was named the Spanish ACB Week 13 Player of the Week after pouring in 35 points on 13-of-18 shooting, including 8-of-10 from deep against CB Coruna.
