EUGENE – Texas A&M's hurdlers booked three tickets to the final day of events at the USA Track & Field Championships Saturday at Hayward Field.

The men's 110m hurdle duo of Ja'Qualon Scott and Connor Schulman opened the day for the Aggies, as both men advanced to tomorrow's semifinals. School-record holder Scott ran out of heat three and crossed the line in 13.34, while Schulman advanced out of the opening heat with a mark of 13.46.

A&M's hurdlers continued to advance, as James Smith II ensured his spot in the final of the 400m hurdles. He clocked a time of 49.44 in heat two to punch his ticket to Sunday's event.

Bryce Deadmon concluded his championships in the men's 400m final, placing sixth with a time of 45.39.

Ciynamon Stevenson tacked on another sixth-place finish for the Maroon & White, after leaping 13.33m/43-8.75 in the women's triple jump.
