Aggies Atop Perfect Game Preseason Poll

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M baseball team will start the 2025 campaign atop the Perfect Game Preseason Poll, as announced by the publication Monday.
This marks the first time in program history the Aggies will open the season as the No. 1 team in the Perfect Game Preseason Poll and the 13th time the Maroon & White will start the year inside the Top 10 of a major poll. Texas A&M is followed by four other SEC programs inside the Top 10, which marks the most of any conference.
The Aggies are coming off a historic run in 2024 that saw them reach the College World Series Finals for the first time in program history. The trip to Omaha marked the Maroon & White's second in the last three seasons and eighth overall. Texas A&M is entering its first season under head coach Michael Earley, who helped turn the Aggies into one of the most powerful and potent offenses in the country during his tenure as an assistant the last three seasons.
According to the poll, which is the first of five major preseason polls to be released, the Maroon & White will square off against eight teams inside the Top 25 throughout the 2025 campaign.
The Aggies are scheduled to open their 2025 season Friday, February 14 against Elon at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
